Week 39

My transition has been gradual. Lorenzo is slowly becoming home as I kit him out and get into the swing of things.

This weekend I fitted another window. It wasn’t a complete success as my rivnuts didn’t stay put and I’m going to need to think of alternatives. There are enough holding it in for now and some gaffer tape to keep the water out.

On the image slider we have images of Vaea riding shotgun, parked up while we go for a walk, some of the work on the window and my work desk with a view of the sky. Oh…and I broke my shipping forecast mug. Most annoying,.

Tomorrow Lorenzo goes for a service. I’d guess it’s about twice the cost of a car so I’ll have to see if I can do future ones myself to save some funds.

I’m also going to have to look at getting him replated to 4.5 or 5 tonnes. I have a feeling it’ll be a real struggle to keep him under 3.5 tonnes as I add comforts. The thing I miss most at the moment are work surfaces. For cooking, or even just working.
