Mostly sunny skies and still warm. However, dust everywhere and it gets hot inside Lorenzo towards the end of the working day. I thought I’d add another quick post as it’s been a little while but unless I’ve got something interesting it might be quiet for a while.
This morning we had a little explore of the village. Lovely lavabo, or if you’re Spanish, Lavadero. Also a very pretty church and couple of stunning sunset shots for you. 😐
A couple of days ago vultures came to visit. Turns out they were Griffon Vultures and fairly common round the South of Spain. I love to watch birds of prey in action. This morning it was a falcon of some sort flashing past but seeing the vultures slowly quartering the ground with very little effort was most majestic.

The Victron system was fully operational today and I fired up the generator after the morning bike ride and topped up Bertha (the battery) to 100% before starting work. The sun was out so after an 8 hour working day the battery was at 98% as the solar had provided most of the power I needed for my laptop, second screen, Starlink, firewall and charging phone and a couple of torches. Pleased with that but I’m waiting for a day of cloud/rain to see how much of the battery is required for a day of work.
It’s funny how people use phrases like “living the dream” and “the good life” but, just like the TV show, there’s some graft and inconvenience to go with the high spots. Like……washing outside by hand. Took me over an hour and a half to clean a week and a half’s dirty clothes.
