Christmas day was pretty much the same as any other day. We did have a Christmas curry and there was no work to do, so fairly relaxing.
Boxing day, not so much. We had intended to leave around midday but after packing, cleaning, clearing and organising since 10am we thought leaving at 6pm wasn’t wise. So, we left the following morning. Even that was in a panic as it had started to rain and driving on the tracks from the properly is almost impossible when the surface turns to slimy mid, even in a car.
Now it’s the 29th and we’ve just landed in Civray after three days or 500km or so per day. That was fairly good going as we have to stop regularly for dog wees and leg stretching.
Night before last we stopped over on the edge of a forest just south of Madrid near a town called Senena. It had a very pretty castle.
Last night we parked up next to a Dolmen about 100km from the French border.

Adrian’s property is know to the local on account of the scrap cars littered around the place. Well, there are three at the moment plus two used for storage but you get the picture.
He arranged to have one removed last week with the intention being to have another one or two follow it. However, after the truck collected it and took it to the scrap yard over an hour away it brought it back again as they wouldn’t accept anything without paperwork….sheesh!
