Nearly 20 years I’ve lived here and never been into this church, though I must have driven and cycled past it hundreds of times. It’s at Champagné-le-Sec and it was suggested I dropped in by my friend Roger.
Inside it is quite stunning. Although I was brought up a Catholic, I’m now a devoted atheist. However, the inside of an old church, with it’s cool, calm and reverential atmosphere still makes the hairs on my arms stand up.
